Why does GroupIn ask for Local Network and Bluetooth?
So your phone can find friends in the same room or venue, even without internet. Without those permissions, sharing falls back to the cloud and feels much slower.
Do I need an account?
No. GroupIn uses your iCloud account automatically — no sign-up, no password.
Who can see my location?
Only members of groups you join. Group data (location, chat, photos) is end-to-end encrypted with the invite code; even we can't read it.
How do I leave a group?
Swipe left on the group on the Home screen and tap Leave (or Delete, if you're the owner).
